About this program
Most interview prep is a pile of problems with nobody watching. This cohort is a plan. Each week has one focus, a set of practice, and a mentor who scores you against a rubric. You learn the routine that works on every coding question, a structure for design rounds, and how to tell honest stories. It ends with two full mock loops and a plan for negotiating the offer. One session of it is free to try on this page.
Who it is for
- Students and freshers preparing for placements and first jobs
- Working developers who are interviewing in the next few months
- People who reach the final rounds but do not convert
What you will be able to do
- Write a resume and a two-minute story that survives the first screen
- Solve coding problems with a repeatable clarify, plan, code, test routine
- Handle low-level design and basic system design rounds with a clear structure
- Answer behavioural questions with specific, honest stories
- Negotiate an offer calmly and compare it with others

Week 1 · Foundations
🔒 The hiring loop and your resume5 topics
Know what each round tests before you prepare for it.
The loop
- Screen, coding, design, behavioural, hiring manager: what each round scores
- How to plan six weeks around your target companies
Resume
- One page, impact first: verbs, numbers, scope
- ATS basics and how recruiters actually read a resume
- Your two-minute story: who you are and why this role
Weeks 1-3 · Coding rounds
🔒 The coding round loop5 topics
Clarify, plan, code, test, out loud.
The routine
- Clarify inputs and edge cases
- Brute force first, then improve
- Talking while coding, tracing by hand, stating complexity
Practice
- Timed 45-minute problems with a mentor watching
- Debugging out loud when a test fails
🔒 Patterns that cover most problems7 topics
Learn the shapes, not 500 answers.
Core patterns
- Arrays and hashing, two pointers, sliding window
- Stack and monotonic stack, binary search
- Linked lists, trees, graphs: BFS and DFS
- Heaps, intervals, backtracking
- Dynamic programming from recursion to table
How we practise
- A short curated set per pattern, then mixed sets with a timer
- A spaced-repetition schedule so patterns stay fresh
Weeks 3-4 · Design rounds
🔒 Low-level design5 topics
Classes, interfaces and the patterns behind them.
Fundamentals
- Requirements to classes: nouns, verbs, relationships
- SOLID principles with examples
Practice designs
- Parking lot, vending machine, elevator
- Library or booking system
- Design patterns you actually use: strategy, observer, factory, state
🔒 System design basics5 topics
Enough high-level design to pass the round.
- The structure of a design answer and how to time it
- Estimation: requests, storage, bandwidth
- APIs, databases and caching in one page each
- One full design walked end to end (URL shortener)
- How to recover when you are stuck
Week 5 · People rounds
🔒 Behavioural interviews5 topics
Specific, honest stories beat rehearsed ones.
Stories
- Build a bank of six stories: conflict, failure, leadership, ownership, ambiguity, a win
- The STAR structure without sounding scripted
Hard questions
- Why are you leaving? Gaps? A weakness? A failure?
- Questions to ask the interviewer
- Hiring manager and culture rounds
Week 6 · Close it
🔒 Mock interviews and offers5 topics
Full-length practice, then the part after the offer.
Mocks
- Two full mock loops: coding, design and behavioural
- Scored on a written rubric with specific fixes
Offers
- Reading an offer: base, bonus, equity, notice period
- Negotiating calmly and comparing several offers
- Your next 30 days: a checklist
Projects
- A reviewed one-page resume
- A bank of six behavioural stories
- Weekly timed practice with mentor feedback
- Two full mock interview loops with a written rubric
